Fill me in on whats "constructive" about this post?
Perhaps, if you would get off the high horse and look at it a different way, you could see that it can be taken to be meant in different ways.
I started with, "sound mean," which, well, usually means it's going to sound mean but not be mean. It wasn't meant to. I know that's totally going to go over everyone's heads anyhow.
It could be taken as I'm totally mean and insulting, or maybe I'm bemused that someone would do such an intense build on such an unexpected chassis. I tend to go with bemused. I lived in South Dakota, middle of nowhere, for two and a half years surrounded by trucks and SUV's, but nobody did anything to them. Here, where they're usually unnecessary, people have them and mod them... It's new to me. I'm wondering why people do it, what the point is in it.
If you want to make something fast, start with something smaller? I know twin-turbo G35's are catchy, and damn quick. I just don't see what the draw is.
Ignorance isn't what people seem to think it always is. Sure, I'm ignorant when it comes to this sort of thing. I've never been exposed to it and don't have endless time to google information that isn't of use to me. (I own no truck or SUV, so why would I know where to source performance stuff for one?)
As far as the constructive criticism point, anyone I've talked to agrees that this forum is full of people that can't take any hint of an insult.... So even if I were to constructively criticize, I'd still be flamed as if I meant to flat-out insult someone.
So go on... Flame on. Ya know you want to keep going.
