Have you considered converting to e85 for the added octane rating and the much cooler temperatures e85 offers? Alot of race teams are switching to e85 over c16 simply because it can make the same power at a third of the cost of race gas. Just a thought.

If you don't mind me asking, what was so bad about the kenne bell?

Good luck on the sick build.

there are no drawbacks to higher compression aslong as you can deal with detonation. period.

very simple, yet true.

shane, "if" you have spool problems; your solution:

I probally would change to E85 if it was more readly avaliable. In the north it's all over the place just not here yet.

as for the launch controller I would like to do one except Kris broke all kinds of stuff the last time he used his.

As for why I got rid of my Kenne Bell is because at the end of my run at Centerville my IAT's were 250 plus with meth.
Something was wrong with the system and didn't work like it should. The mustang guys can keep that turd not
efficient enough for a LS I guess. Here is some really good reading kinda long but this is what happened
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induc...twin-screw.html .

You can build more than enough boost on the line with the 6spd. Its all in the setup of the EMS.

at the beging of the run IAT are 169 by the end they were 256. The intercooler or heat exchanger wasn't good enough so I decided to
sell it before the rest of the guys that bought them figured it out and flooded the market with the pos. Kris I were going to build an
ice box in the trunk but sold it before I could.

Shane did you have the same kind of IAT issues on your Maggie? Sounds like a fun project...I'm no expert but I think the getting the tune just right for the street and for the track will be the most difficult part.

Maggie IAT the highest I ever saw was 170's. Kris is going to have his hands full tunning this car.
