Well I have been lurking for a little while debating that if I really NEED another forum to waste time with. My current toy car is 08 Phantom Black Evo X GSR, with a Cobb Access port, turbo back exhaust, AEM intake, and few other small odds and ins.

I have been daily driving the car, put I am going to try to keep her more in the garage this year and only taking it out to beat on it. So I am in the market for beater to daily drive, it has to be something that I will not be tempted to spend mod money on.

Goals this spring when I get back with the Evo is more tuning, upgrade the intercooler, clutch, and replace the center diff pins to beef up the driveline a bit for some beating.

I am active duty AF, currently deployed, been off and on in the Little Rock area for around 10 years or so.

Any questions feel free to speak up.

LOL Frank I was hoping to go incognito for at least more than a hour.

On the pics, I think I have some on my cam over here, just need to find my card reader and I will try to upload them in a few days or so

Welcome over Beav.

You would be wise to swap out the pins in the diff the same time you do the clutch.

They do fail sad.gif

I've said it before and I'll say it again.......subarus suck!....... now don't tell me that you don't have a Subaru, because I can read, I know that you have an mitsubishi......but all evo owners secretly want and wish they had a Subaru, so just to keep my post count down I'm killing two birds so to speak. welcome evo owner. soon you will learn the err of your ways.
Justin, with your mastery of mechanics I cant see how this could possibly go wrong.

Drew...Sir...You don't have room to talk shit to anybody.

Yours is the newest car i've ever seen to have so many catastrophic failures. Do you even have 10k miles on it?

So a motor or tranny every 10k miles...gotcha.

Quicker? That what? Most forresters? n/a 2.5i? Besides, it's only quicker as long as it's not broken so your statement has an expiration date...

Jew, damn man! you secretly want a Subaru too, someday you will get tired of walking. and realize that a Mitsubishi is like a rocket...fast for a second or two, and then burns up in cool little flame as it comes back down never to be used again. you really need to get in touch with your inner self.

Sorry Beav, the n00b posts have to be approved by a moderator and I knew it as you... LOL

Beav has had a long line of other cars as halfway reliable as his current EVO (Dsm) smile.gif
